Lecture: “What Were the Judges Thinking?”
Have you attended quilt shows filled with fabulous quilts and wondered how the judges decided the winners? Or maybe you went to a show and thought the judges were all wrong. Have you considered entering a judged show yourself but are afraid of what the judges will say about your quilt? Then this presentation is for you. Learn how judges evaluate quilts using the judging pathway, which includes general appearance, design, and workmanship. I share some of my experiences as an entrant. When I judge my goal is to offer encouraging feedback to all entrants. During this presentation my wish is for you to ask questions, gain knowledge, and find out how positive it can be to enter a judged show.
