Sew day for Quilts of Valor

The November NWQ general meeting will be an all-comers sewing day for Quilts of Valor. We will have several groups, each led by a Table Mom and each devoted to sewing together a QOV quilt top that we have prepared. Another group, led by Kathy Anderson, will sew QOV presentation cases. We will also have three or four QOVs that need hand sewing on their bindings, some cutting, lots of pressing, and thus some “running” that will need to be done throughout the meeting. Our greatest need by far will be for members who bring their sewing machines to piece and assemble quilt tops during this period. You will need to be in place, set up to begin sewing promptly at 9:30. This is a fun and social event that also helps us honor our military veterans and active service members.
Please plan to come!
