Suzi PerronJoin the barn quilt movement by creating your own painted quilt block. You will begin with a pre-primed board and go through each step -- drafting, taping and painting with careful attention to detail. We will spend about 3 hours together; once painting begins, you may work at your own pace. Depending on your design, you will leave with a finished quilt block or with one last color (which will be provided) to add at home. Your project will be ready for show and tell at your next meeting! The finished product will be 2 x 2 feet and perfect for mounting on smaller buildings.
Level of Skill: Beginner to Advanced

Registration Fee: $50 for NWQ members, $70 for non-members.
Registration fee includes pre-primed 2 x 2 foot board, suggested patterns (you may bring your own, but keep it simple), paint, foam brushes, colored pencils and other tools.
All you need to bring is 1-inch painter's tape, a 24-inch ruler and a pencil!

If you have questions, please contact Programs and Workshops Chair by email at wrkshp@northwestquilters.org.
