Ellen Anne Eddy
Wearable Thread/Sheer Magic with Bobbin Work Appliqué
Saturday, April 12 through Monday, April 14, 2008
Ellen Anne Eddy is customizing a special 3-full day workshop combining 3 popular classes into one. You will have the opportunity to learn Thread Magic, Sheer Magic and Bobbin Work Appliqué, creating a vest or jacket. Choose velveteen, hand-dyed cotton, organza or denim and design your own motif or let a wonderful oversized print design it for you. Hot quilting, machine embroidery techniques and stylish cuffs make this jacket or vest the perfect thing to flatter all figures. Thread Magic makes this garment reversible. Working with thick thread and bobbin work techniques create an embroidered image we can appliqué like shaded, 3-D flowers, bugs and more. Instant gratification! Bring your favorite pattern or she'll share with you.
Ellen will lecture at our April meeting, Monday evening, April 14, 2008 at 7:00 pm with the presentation Thread Magic of Ellen Anne Eddy, held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 7810 S.E. 15th, Portland. She will teach a 3-day workshop Saturday, April 12 through Monday, April 14, 2008 at Sellwood Methodist Church, 1422 S.E. Tacoma Street.
