General meetings are held on the second Monday
of each month at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 7810 SE 15th, Portland,
Oregon. Meeting times alternate between mornings and evenings,
August through June; morning meetings are on odd-numbered months, evening meetings are on even-numbered months.
The meetings allow members to share fellowship,
display quilt projects, learn of upcoming quilting events and
participate in scheduled programs.
Board meetings are open to any members who wish to attend.

There will be no General Meeting if the Portland Public Schools
are closed due to inclement weather.
Telephone 503-222-1991 if you have any questions - we will put a cancellation message on that number if such a situation arises.

Sandra Leichner
Great Quilts Do Not Happen Overnight
Sandra is a top internationally awarded and recognized appliqué quilt artist and is best known for her master hand appliqué and embellishment technique. Combining an art background with years of working with textiles and fibers, Sandra has created stunning Artisan quilts that are both art and traditional in style. Her work has consistently garnered major juried national and international awards including numerous major national Best of Show awards as well as the RJR Best of Show Wall Quilt at the AQS quilt show in Paducah and a Master's Award at the International Quilt Festival in Houston. Her work is included in the permanent collections of two national quilt museums including the Museum of the American Quilter's Society. Sandra has also appeared on two PBS specials and The American Quilter television program. Sandra and her quilts have been published in many sources worldwide.
